Hello everyone,

As the conclusion of the autocross season nears, New York Region of the Sports Car Club of America will be hosting a food drive in conjunction with our final points event of the 2014 season. We are fortunate to be having fun, but for others they more pressing needs. We can help them. The food drive will be donating all collected food items to Island Harvest.  Island Harvest has been aiding hungry Long Islanders since 1992 and we would like to help them in their cause. In addition to your usual registration fee, we are asking you to any non-perishable item or canned good, even pet food for this food drive. We will have a volunteer at the food collection boxes on the sidewalk to help pack everything. We hope that your friends, co-workers and family will donate as well in your name. 

NYR will reward the entrant who the most donated food.  To the active participant of the event that donates the most food, even with the support of people acting on behalf of your to donate, shall win a free entry for an NYR-SCCA Solo event for next season and a T-shirt.

The Coliseum is hosting an event indoors on the 27th, so make sure to arrive early or you will need to pay to enter the lots.
